Safe Sun = Follow SLIP, SLOP, SLAP and use healthy alternatives

Slip on a shirt - Everyone should wear protective clothing in the sun.
Ralph Lauren: women's sun protective top

Sunuva: girl's sun protective top

Slop on sunscreen - Wear sunscreen with a Skin Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or higher on any exposed skin.

Wipe it on thickly at least 15 minutes before going outdoors and reapply 15 minutes after the first application to ensure complete coverage.  Also reapply after physical activity, swimming or towel drying.

Slap on a hat & shades - wear a hat that shades the face, neck and ears. Your eyes need protection too! Shades provide more than just style.

More people get burned on the face and neck than any other part of the body.

When the heat is on.. seek shade
